Chinese 7–10 Programme
A full year of Chinese for Stage 4 and Stage 5, written to be taught rather than adapted. Nine routes, three proficiency levels in each stage, four ten-week units per route, and one complete printable resource for every week. Three hundred and sixty in all, with answers and a teaching sequence for each one, plus the scope and sequence, assessment grid and marked tasks your program file needs.
Three weeks of every route are open
The sample opens the first three weeks of Unit 1 in all nine routes, complete with the teaching sequence, the answers, the recordings and the unit chunk table. Nothing is hidden behind a sign-in.
What a school gets
360 weekly resources
Each week has original Chinese input, student tasks, a partner interaction, the answers and success criteria, plus three planned 50-minute lessons. No gaps to fill in before you teach.
Chunk tables and recordings
One chunk table for every unit, 36 in all. Every teacher-only listening script also comes as a recording, so you can play it or read it aloud.
Word and PDF
118 documents in both formats. The Word files are editable, so you can drop them into your school's template, change names and contexts, and print only the pages you need.
Aligned to the syllabus
Each unit maps to the Stage 4 or Stage 5 outcomes of the NSW Modern Languages K–10 Syllabus (2022) and says which week provides the evidence. It contributes to the outcomes; it does not claim to exhaust the stage.
The documents your program file needs
Every route comes with a one-page scope and sequence, an assessment grid, and four task notifications with their marking criteria. Four tasks across the year, one per unit, each marked against a different outcome, so the year produces four different kinds of evidence.
Assessment that is already written
Each task runs on the week 9 resource of its unit, so nothing has to be written before it can be used: a spoken negotiation, a written text, an in-class reading and listening test, and a combined task. Conditions, weightings and a five-criteria rubric come with each one.
Price
A$89
Stage 4 is three routes and 120 weekly resources. Stage 5 is its full two years, Year 9 and Year 10: six routes and 240 weekly resources. Each comes with its chunk tables and its recordings.
A$189
Stage 4 and Stage 5 together. Nine routes, 360 weekly resources, 36 chunk tables and all 72 recordings.
How the two stages are counted. Stage 4 is a 100-hour course taught in one year: three routes, 120 weekly resources. Stage 5 is a 200-hour course taught across Year 9 and Year 10, and both years are written: six routes, 240 weekly resources. A Stage 5 licence covers the whole course, both years, because Stage 5 is one course. Year 10 runs the same four themes at all three levels, so a mixed class can teach one theme at three levels in the same week.
Prices are in Australian dollars and cover the 2027 calendar year at one school. Each following year's edition renews at A$89 a stage. If you would like the programme reordered to your own timetable, calendar and unit names, that starts at A$250.
What the licence allows
The programme is licensed to the purchasing school for its own teachers and its own students. Copy it, edit it, print it and put it in your school's program as much as you like. It may not be resold, published online, or passed to teachers at another school.
How to order
Two ways, whichever suits your school.
By card
Choose one stage or both and pay by card. The payment page asks which stage and which school the licence is for, and a tax invoice is emailed to you automatically. We then send the download link for the Word files, the PDFs and the audio, with the browsing page that ties them together.
By invoice
Email us from your school address with the school name, whether you want one stage or both, and who should receive the invoice. We send an invoice with our ABN, payable by card or bank transfer, on 30-day terms, and the files follow.
Where it stands
This is the 2027 edition. It has been written and checked in full, and it has not yet been trialled across schools. Tell us what happens when you teach it and the next edition will show it.
Every text, task, answer key and chunk table in this programme was written for it. It reproduces no published teaching materials. Each unit is aligned to the outcomes of the NSW Modern Languages K–10 Syllabus (2022), and the weekly sequence is the ordinary one for language learning: model the language, meet it many times in listening and reading, produce it with support, then work without the support.
