Terms for the free resources, Study Hub passes, written feedback, school purchases and the AI tools.

What this covers

HQ Society makes HSC practice for language students, and resources for their teachers: practice papers with listening audio, AI mock orals, Study Hubs and teaching materials for schools. Using the site means you accept these terms.

Free resources

You may use the free papers, answer booklets, listening audio, Study Hub pages and AI mock orals for study or classroom practice, and you may print the PDFs. Do not resell them, publish them elsewhere, or present them as your own work.

Study Hub passes

The Chinese Continuers and Chinese and Literature Study Hubs sell access. The first purchase opens the Study Hub and practice Set 1. Sets 2, 3 and 4 can then be added one at a time. The price of each part is shown before you pay.

A pass is for one student and belongs to the HQ Society account that bought it. Do not share your sign-in. Access lasts until the end of the 2026 HSC written examinations.

If something you paid for does not work as described, email us and we will fix it or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Written feedback

Written feedback is not sold on its own. Each practice set you buy on a Study Hub includes one written feedback. You upload your handwritten paper from that set's page, as a PDF or as clear photos. An experienced HSC language teacher marks it against the relevant HSC marking criteria and sends detailed comments by email. Submissions close four days before that course's written exam. Files and submission records are deleted automatically 90 days after you send them. Feedback is guidance and does not guarantee an exam result.

Schools and teachers

Anything a school buys from us, such as the Chinese 7–10 Programme or a customised assessment, is licensed to that school for its own teaching. The licence does not extend to another school, another campus or a tutoring business. Teacher packs and recordings made in Listening Studio may be used with your own classes. Do not resell them or publish them elsewhere.

The AI tools are for practice

The mock orals, the Study Hub tutor and Listening Studio's drafts are produced by AI. A mock oral report is for practice. It is not a formal mark, a prediction of a result or evidence for a school assessment.

Accounts

An HQ Society account is for one person. Keep your email account secure, because sign-in links are sent there.

Availability

The tools depend on services outside our control. They may occasionally be slow or unavailable. Report a problem and we will check it.

HQ Society owns the site content unless a page names another source or licence. Questions about any of this can be sent to info@hqsociety.com. See our privacy notice for what the tools do with data.

These terms change from time to time, and the date at the top moves when they do.
