Bring your own Chinese transcript or draft one from the course knowledge base. Choose the voices, review the questions and cue sheet, then create the audio. There is no need to organise a recording session.

Four Chinese courses
Chinese Beginners, Chinese Continuers, Chinese in Context, and Chinese and Literature. Each course uses its own HSC-style reading pace, spoken instructions, repeated readings and pauses.
Use your material, or start with a draft
Paste a transcript you already use, dictate it, or ask for a new draft using the course, question and topic. Listen to the voice samples and choose the voices for your recording. Classroom recording also supports activities outside the HSC format.
Build a complete listening assessment
Review and approve each question, sample answer and cue sheet before recording. Once a complete course set is ready, combine it into one HSC-style MP3 with the appropriate opening, question order, reading and writing time, and closing.
Complete sets made through the current workflow also include a student Listening Section Paper and a teacher Transcript and Sample Answers, both in Word. Older recordings without the question details can still be combined as audio only.
You review the content before we record
AI drafts need checking. You can edit the transcript, questions and answers before approving them. The studio supports your assessment preparation; it does not certify a draft as ready to use without your review.
Before you start
The public beta allows five new recordings per browser each day, resetting at midnight Sydney time. Drafting and combining do not use that allowance. You can build a complete set over several days.
Finished files are available for up to seven days. Download the files you want to keep. Your library belongs to the browser you use; keep the recovery link if you need to open a recording elsewhere. Do not include student names or other personal information.
